If you're single again and looking to reset your Tinder account, it's not as difficult as you think. Follow the below steps to restore your Tinder account, and you'll be swiping right in no time.

When it comes to restoring your account, you have two options, you can restore your old account or you can reset your account for a fresh start.

Restore Your Old Tinder Account

1. If you simply deleted the app off of your phone, you did not actually delete you account. If this is the case, simply download the app again and login with your previous account details.

2. If you went through the proper process and deleted your account on Tinder, you can still recover the account. Simply download the app again, sign in with your Facebook profile, and you will be back on Tinder!

Reset Your Tinder Account

If you want a fresh start, you can create an entirely new Tinder profile. Note that if you chose this option you will not have access to your previous messages and matches. As of the end of 2018, Tinder has created some preventative measures to stop people from constantly creating new profiles. This is also an effort to stop individuals who have been banned from Tinder from creating new profiles.

However, for those who just want a fresh start, we can still guide you through the new process for resetting a Tinder account. Note that Tinder will recognize you, and associate you with your old profile, by your Facebook account, phone number, or previous purchases on your Google account or Apple ID. You will need to use a new Facebook account or phone number that has never been associated with a Tinder profile before. You will also need to use a new email address.

Reset Your Tinder Account with Facebook

1. Delete your Tinder account in the settings of the app. (If you have not already done this in the past). Go into the Tinder app, then select 'Settings' and at the bottom of the menu, 'Delete Account.'

2. Delete and reinstall the Tinder app on your phone.

3. Create a new Facebook account at www.facebook.com.

4. Download the Tinder app again and create a new account.

5. Use a new phone number on the sign in process. Make sure you're signed into the new Facebook account on your phone and have signed out of your old Facebook account.

6. You will be redirected to your new Tinder account and can start swiping.

Reset Your Tinder Account with a Phone Number
